The Finnish education system enjoys international recognition. Many of its elements are sought after for learning and leveraging in the development of educational systems, institutions, higher education, and the expertise of education professionals. While the strengths of the Finnish comprehensive school are well-known globally, the strengths of Finnish universities of applied sciences and vocational education are less recognized. These strengths include project, service, and RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) activities that enhance regional development, the regional innovation system, and the competitiveness of companies, as well as close and diverse collaboration with working life. Additionally, they feature innovative and modern learning environments, pedagogically qualified teachers with practical experience beyond teaching, and competence-based curricula.
The mission of my company is to offer foreign universities, vocational institutions, and adult education institutions Finnish expertise and resources, particularly for the development of working life collaboration, continuing education, other services, and RDI work. The goal is to increase the quantity and quality of projects and services, and thereby increasing external funding by strengthening expertise and capabilities.
